The hardest part about mornings for most of us here at TBG is finding the most time-friendly morning skincare routine that fits into our limited time to get ready for work every morning.
I asked some of my friends if they usually complete their desired morning skincare routines when running late for work, and most responded with a resounding “No!” because it is too long of a process, so they would end up skipping it altogether.
Skincare is very important, so the sooner you start caring for your skin, the better it is for the overall health of your skin.
When it comes to health & wellness the golden rule is, prevention is better than cure, so do not wait until you start having skin problems in the future to care for your skin. Taking better care of your skin now can make a huge difference because a good skincare routine can slow down the appearance of aging.
Your skincare routine should not be overly complicated and should not take more than three minutes to complete every morning.
Instead of skipping your morning skincare routine, try this instead. It’s the perfect three-step skincare morning routine, so you can always get to work on time.

Steps for an Easy Three-Step Morning Skincare Routine;
1) Make sure you CLEANSE your face & never forget your TONER
Cleansing and toning go hand-in-hand, which means you should never do one without doing the other.
Once you’ve cleansed your face, preferably with a salicylic acid or glycolic acid cleanser, the next step is your toner which will remove any left-over dirt stuck in your pores.
Using a toner might not seem important, but it is the most important step in tightening your skin and minimising the appearance of pores.
The perfect toner for most skin types must include hyaluronic acid. Hyaluronic acid is a natural substance produced by our bodies that aids in maintaining skin moisture. It helps give the skin a dewy, glowy, healthy look by increasing the plumpness and hydration in your skin.

Please note: When choosing a cleanser, if you suffer from sensitive skin or are pregnant, use a cleanser with glycolic acid instead of salicylic acid.

2) Moisturize, Moisturize, Moisturize
You’ve heard many times how important it is to moisturize your skin. A good moisturizer helps create a barrier between your skin and the harsh climate by preventing dry skin, which can increase the appearance of wrinkles, or by preventing extremely oily skin, which can cause acne.
Pick a moisturizer packed with niacinamide. Niacinamide boosts collagen production and decreases water loss in your skin. It also helps with hyperpigmentation and smoothing away fine lines and wrinkles.

3) Do not skip the SUNSCREEN
Sunscreen is not just for preventing sunburns but aids in preventing the breakdown of collagen in our skin by absorbing harmful UV rays. Collagen is a protein that provides structure and strength to our skin by replacing dead skin cells with healthier and newer skin cells for a smoother, thicker skin texture.
